Torbugesic (butorphanol tartrate) is a synthetic partial opioid agonist/antagonist with potent analgesic and sedative properties indicated for the relief of pain associated with musculoskeletal conditions and colic in horses.

Relief of pain associated with colic in adult horses and yearlings.
Alleviation of moderate to severe musculoskeletal pain and surgical pain in horses.

موانع الاستخدام

Do not use in horses with known hypersensitivity to butorphanol tartrate.
Do not use in horses with severe hepatic or renal disease.

الاحتياطات

Rapid IV administration may cause transient ataxia, head nodding, or restlessness.
Do not use in horses intended for human food.
Use with caution in horses with cardiac arrhythmias or severe respiratory disease.
