Rhinogen BPE is an adjuvanted bacterin-toxoid for the vaccination of healthy swine against atrophic rhinitis caused by Bordetella bronchiseptica or the dermonecrotic toxin of Pasteurella multocida Type D, and erysipelas caused by Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae.

Indications

  • Vaccination of healthy swine as an aid in preventing atrophic rhinitis and erysipelas.

Contraindications

  • Do not vaccinate clinically ill or malnourished animals.

Precautions

  • Contains thimerosal as a preservative. Epinephrine should be available in case of anaphylactoid reaction.

Side Effects

  • Transient local swelling or mild stiffness following injection.
