Primucell FIP is a temperature-sensitive modified live virus vaccine for the intranasal vaccination of healthy cats 16 weeks of age or older as an aid in preventing feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) caused by feline coronavirus. Replicates only in the cooler temperatures of the upper respiratory tract to stimulate mucosal and cell-mediated immunity without systemic replication.

Indications

Contraindications

Do not inject subcutaneously or intramuscularly.

Do not use in kittens younger than 16 weeks of age.
Precautions

Cats previously exposed to feline coronavirus or positive for coronavirus antibodies may not gain significant protection.
Side Effects

Transient sneezing, watery eyes, or slight snuffling following intranasal instillation.
