  • 6.6 mg pyrantel base per kg (3 mg/lb) body weight (one full syringe per 545 kg / 1200 lbs BW) (Oral paste) — Single oral dose administered onto the back of the tongue

Indications
  • Removal and control of mature infections of large strongyles (Strongylus vulgaris, S. edentatus, S. equinus) in horses.
  • Removal of small strongyles (Cyathostomum spp., Cylicocyclus spp.), pinworms (Oxyuris equi), and large roundworms (Parascaris equorum).
Contraindications
  • Do not use in horses severely debilitated or suffering from bowel obstruction without veterinary direction.
Precautions
  • Keep out of reach of children. For oral equine use only.
Side Effects
  • High therapeutic index; no adverse reactions observed even at multiple therapeutic overdoses.
