Prevention and treatment of acute vomiting in dogs and cats.
Prevention of vomiting associated with pre-anesthetic use of emetogenic medications (such as morphine or hydromorphone) in dogs.
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to maropitant.
Do not use in puppies under 8 weeks of age or kittens under 16 weeks of age.
Use with caution in animals with suspected or known gastrointestinal foreign body or obstruction.
Use with caution in patients with hepatic dysfunction, as maropitant is primarily metabolized by the liver.
Safety has not been evaluated in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs or cats.
Pain or stinging sensation at the subcutaneous injection site.
Lethargy, anorexia, diarrhea, or ataxia in rare cases.
