Bovicalc is an oral nutritional calcium supplement bolus for adult dairy cows at calving. Features a specialized fat-coating to protect the cow's pharynx and esophagus during ingestion.

Indications

Oral calcium supplement for fresh dairy cows at and immediately following calving to maintain normal serum calcium levels and prevent subclinical and clinical hypocalcemia (milk fever).
Contraindications

Do not administer to cows with signs of milk fever that cannot stand (downer cows), as swallowing reflex may be impaired.
Precautions

Administer only with a proper Bovicalc applicator. Do not use broken or damaged boluses.
