Vanguard RapidResp 3 is a modified live intranasal vaccine containing attenuated cultures of Bordetella bronchiseptica, canine parainfluenza virus (CPIV), and canine adenovirus type 2 (CAV-2). Provides rapid mucosal immunity against the primary viral and bacterial pathogens responsible for canine infectious respiratory disease complex (kennel cough).

Indications

Vaccination of healthy dogs 3 weeks of age or older as an aid in preventing canine infectious respiratory disease caused by Bordetella bronchiseptica, canine parainfluenza virus, and canine adenovirus type 2.
Contraindications

Do not inject subcutaneously or intramuscularly; for intranasal administration only.

Do not vaccinate dogs undergoing systemic antibiotic therapy active against Bordetella.
Precautions

Slight post-vaccinal sneezing, sniffling, or transient nasal discharge may be observed in some puppies.
Side Effects

Mild transient sneezing or localized nasal discharge.
