Indications

  • Treatment and control of gastrointestinal roundworms (Ostertagia ostertagi, Haemonchus placei, Trichostrongylus axei, Cooperia oncophora, Oesophagostomum radiatum) in beef cattle.

  • Treatment of lungworms (Dictyocaulus viviparus), eyeworms (Thelazia spp.), grubs (Hypoderma bovis), sucking lice, and mange mites in cattle.

Contraindications

  • Not for use in female dairy cattle 20 months of age or older (including dry dairy cows).

  • Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.

  • Do not administer intravenously or intramuscularly.

Precautions

  • Do not underdose; ensure accurate weighing of animals before administration.

  • Transient swelling at the injection site may occur.

  • Do not administer to severely debilitated cattle or cattle with severe renal or hepatic disease.

Side Effects

  • Transient discomfort or local swelling at injection site, transient salivation or muzzle foaming in cattle sensitive to levamisole.
