Indications

  • Control and alleviation of pain associated with osteoarthritis in cats.

Contraindications

  • Do not use in cats with known hypersensitivity to frunevetmab.

  • Do not use in breeding, pregnant, or lactating cats.

  • Do not use in cats less than 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs) body weight or under 7 months of age.

Precautions

  • Safety has not been evaluated in cats with advanced renal disease (IRIS stage 3 or 4).

  • May induce transient local skin reactions (focal alopecia, dermatitis, pruritus around head and neck).

  • Frunevetmab is metabolized via standard protein breakdown processes.

Side Effects

  • Skin reactions (pruritus, dermatitis, alopecia), vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, anorexia, and injection site pain.
