RumiBEO (also distributed in certain European regions under the trade name RumiBio) is a microencapsulated phytogenic feed additive combining standardized essential oils (including eugenol, cinnamaldehyde, thymol, and carvacrol) tailored specifically for ruminant nutrition. Formulated to optimize rumen fermentation dynamics, RumiBEO selectively inhibits hyper-ammonia-producing bacteria (HAP), reducing excessive dietary protein breakdown in the rumen and increasing the flow of high-quality microbial and bypass amino acids into the small intestine. Furthermore, it shifts volatile fatty acid fermentation toward propionate, decreases enteric methane emissions, and enhances energy and nitrogen efficiency.
