Do not use in dogs with known hypersensitivity to carprofen or other NSAIDs.
Do not use in cats.
Do not use concurrently with other NSAIDs or systemic corticosteroids.
Appropriate laboratory tests (CBC, renal and hepatic profiles) should be performed prior to and periodically during NSAID administration.
Use with caution in dogs with preexisting renal, hepatic, or cardiovascular disease.
Ensure adequate hydration and blood pressure monitoring in surgical patients.
Gastrointestinal signs: vomiting, diarrhea, melena, inappetence, and gastric ulceration.
Elevated liver enzymes, lethargy, or rare idiosyncratic hepatotoxicity.
