Lincomix Injectable (lincomycin injection)

Lincomix Injectable contains lincomycin hydrochloride equivalent to 100 mg or 300 mg of lincomycin per mL. Indicated for the treatment of infectious arthritis caused by staphylococci, streptococci, Erysipelothrix, and Mycoplasma hyosynoviae, and treatment of swine pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae.

Indications

Treatment of swine arthritis caused by Mycoplasma hyosynoviae, staphylococci, streptococci, and Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae.

Treatment of swine pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae.
Contraindications

Do not use in animals known to be sensitive to lincomycin.
Precautions

Occasionally, pigs treated with lincomycin may develop transient loose stools or mild perianal erythema.
Side Effects
-
Transient diarrhea or slight rectal irritation.
