Indications

  • Control and alleviation of pain associated with osteoarthritis in dogs.

Contraindications

  • Do not use in dogs with known hypersensitivity to bedinvetmab.

  • Do not use in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs.

  • Do not use in dogs under 12 months of age.

Precautions

  • Bedinvetmab may cross the placental barrier and be excreted in milk; therefore do not use in breeding animals.

  • Monoclonal antibodies are eliminated via normal cellular catabolism with minimal involvement of renal or hepatic pathways.

  • Transient pain at the injection site may be observed.

Side Effects

  • Mild swelling at the injection site, urinary tract infections, increased blood urea nitrogen (BUN), dermatitis, and lameness.
