Inovocox EM1 is a live coccidiosis vaccine containing sporulated oocysts of Eimeria acervulina, Eimeria maxima, and Eimeria tenella. Formulated for in ovo administration to 18- to 19-day-old embryonated chicken eggs or by coarse spray to 1-day-old chicks as an aid in the prevention of coccidiosis in broiler chickens.

Indications

  • Vaccination of healthy 18- to 19-day-old embryonated chicken eggs or day-old chicks as an aid in prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria acervulina, E. maxima, and E. tenella.

Contraindications

  • Do not administer to sick embryos or compromised chicks. Do not use anticoccidials concurrently in feed.

Precautions

  • Store under refrigeration; do not freeze. Administer only with clean, calibrated in ovo or spray equipment.

Side Effects

  • Mild, self-limiting cycling of vaccine oocysts necessary for immunity development.
