  • 250 mg lincomycin per gallon of drinking water (one 40 g packet per 160 gallons of water) (Drinking water administration) — Administer continuously as the sole source of drinking water for 5 to 10 consecutive days

Indications
  • Treatment of swine dysentery (bloody scours) associated with Brachyspira hyodysenteriae.
Contraindications
  • Do not use in swine with known sensitivity to lincomycin.
Precautions
  • If clinical signs do not improve within 3 to 5 days, rediagnose.
Side Effects
  • Transient softening of feces or slight perianal irritation during the first 48 hours of treatment.
