Storage Conditions Store at 2°C to 8°C (35°F to 46°F). Do not freeze. Use entire contents immediately after rehydration.
Dosages

Dog

  • 0.5 mL instilled into one or both nostrils (Intranasal) — Single dose at 3 weeks of age or older; annual revaccination recommended

Indications
  • Active immunization of healthy dogs and puppies 3 weeks of age or older as an aid in preventing canine infectious tracheobronchitis (kennel cough) caused by Bordetella bronchiseptica.
Contraindications
  • NEVER inject subcutaneously or intramuscularly (injection of live intranasal vaccine causes severe hepatic necrosis and cellulitis).
  • Do not use in dogs undergoing antibiotic therapy effective against Bordetella.
Precautions
  • For intranasal use only. Rapid onset of mucosal immunity provides protection within 48 to 72 hours.
Side Effects
  • Transient sneezing, coughing, or mild nasal discharge in a small percentage of vaccinated puppies.
