Dosages

  • 1 mL per 5 kg body weight (2.0 mg derquantel + 0.2 mg abamectin/kg) (Oral drench) — Single dose

Indications
  • Treatment and control of adult and larval gastrointestinal nematodes of sheep, including strains resistant to benzimidazoles, levamisole, and avermectins.
  • Effective against Haemonchus contortus, Teladorsagia circumcincta, Trichostrongylus spp., Cooperia spp., and Oesophagostomum columbianum.
Contraindications
  • Do not use in sheep weighing less than 15 kg.
  • Do not use in other animal species (toxic to horses and dogs).
Precautions
  • Accurately calibrate drenching equipment.
  • Derquantel and abamectin are toxic to aquatic organisms.
Side Effects
  • Safe at recommended dosage; transient lethargy or incoordination if severely overdosed.
