Dosages

Dog

  • Minimum 2.0 mg/kg (0.9 mg/lb) body weight (Subcutaneous (SC)) — Administer once every 4 to 8 weeks as needed

Indications
  • Treatment of clinical signs associated with atopic dermatitis in dogs.
  • Treatment of clinical signs associated with allergic dermatitis in dogs of any age.
Contraindications
  • Do not use in dogs with known hypersensitivity to lokivetmab or any of the excipients.
Precautions
  • Can be safely used concurrently with other medications including antimicrobial, antiparasitic, and anti-inflammatory therapies.
  • Safety has not been evaluated in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs.
  • Monoclonal antibodies are eliminated via normal protein degradation pathways without hepatic or renal clearance involvement.
Side Effects
  • Adverse reactions are rare and similar to placebo: lethargy, vomiting, hyperexcitability, injection site pain or swelling, and dermatitis.
