Albon Injection 40% (sulfadimethoxine 400 mg/mL) is a sterile solution for intravenous or subcutaneous injection. Indicated in cattle for shipping fever complex, bacterial pneumonia, calf diphtheria, and foot rot; in dogs and cats for respiratory, genitourinary, enteric, and soft tissue infections; and in horses for respiratory infections caused by Streptococcus equi.

Indications

Treatment of shipping fever complex, bacterial pneumonia, foot rot, and calf diphtheria in cattle.

Treatment of respiratory, genitourinary, enteric, and wound infections in dogs and cats.

Treatment of respiratory infections in horses associated with Streptococcus equi.
Contraindications

Do not use in animals with history of sulfonamide hypersensitivity or severe renal damage.
Precautions

Intravenous injection in cattle and horses must be given slowly. Ensure adequate animal hydration.
Side Effects

Rare hypersensitivity reactions; temporary pain at SC injection sites.
